Dasom Essence
By placing an order with Dasom Essence, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Return & Refund Policy in its entirety.
1. Final Sale Policy (Hygiene & Safety)
Due to the nature of skincare and cosmetic products and in accordance with health, hygiene, and consumer safety regulations, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:
- Opened or used products
- Unsealed products
- Products damaged after delivery
- Products purchased due to personal preference or dissatisfaction
This policy applies regardless of individual results or expectations.
2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify Dasom Essence within 48 hours of delivery.
To initiate a claim, customers must provide:
- Order number
- Clear photographs of the product(s)
- Photographs of the outer and inner packaging
- A written description of the issue
Failure to provide the required documentation within the stated timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
Dasom Essence reserves the right to:
- Replace the item or
- Issue a refund at our sole discretion
Refunds, if approved, will be issued only to the original payment method.
3. Allergic Reactions, Skin Sensitivity & Results Disclaimer
Skincare products may affect individuals differently. Dasom Essence does not guarantee specific results.
Customers are solely responsible for:
- Reviewing ingredient lists prior to purchase
- Conducting a patch test before full application
Dasom Essence shall not be held liable for:
- Allergic reactions
- Skin irritation or sensitivity
- Adverse reactions due to misuse or failure to follow instructions
Refunds or returns will not be issued for these reasons.
4. Shipping Responsibility & Delivery Confirmation
Once an order has been shipped, ownership and risk transfer to the customer.
Dasom Essence is not responsible for:
- Packages marked as delivered by the carrier
- Delays caused by shipping carriers
- Lost, stolen, or misdirected packages resulting from incorrect address information provided by the customer
Any claims related to lost or stolen packages must be filed directly with the shipping carrier.
5. Order Cancellation Policy
Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase, provided the order has not entered processing or shipment.
Once an order is processed or shipped, no cancellations, refunds, or modifications are permitted.
6. Sale, Promotional & Discounted Items
All items purchased during sales, promotions, or with discount codes are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase, you agree to contact Dasom Essence directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes that violate this policy may result in:
- Account suspension
- Future order refusal
- Submission of this policy and supporting documentation to the payment processor
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dasom Essence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.
Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.
9. Policy Updates & Governing Law
Dasom Essence reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
This policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada / Province of Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles.
